Having worked as an Ocean Lifeguard in the 90's, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. This is one that I will place in my favorites pile to read again and again. I really like listening to this book because I feel like the info goes in my ears and the knowledge nestles in my brain and then pops to mind when I need it. On the morning of 20 March 1809, the woman who had earned herself the title of ‘The Yorkshire Witch’ was hanged upon York’s ‘New Drop’ gallows before an estimated crowd of 20,000 people.
